As a new Board we have identified some grant opportunities that may be available to offset costs associated with projects in our community such as replacing the palm trees that we are losing around the lake due to diseases that are leading to their untimely demise. 

In order to take advantage of these funding sources we would like to solicit assistance from any and all talented TLOB residents that would be willing to write these grants as they become available through agencies such as the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and Hillsborough County. 

Attached are pictures of the Lake and one of the many islands in TLOB that we are hopeful to be able to apply for the upcoming Hillsborough County Mini Grant available so that we can replace the dying palm trees and/or beautify with new landscape materials and update the existing irrigation.
